Wheel Alignment
At Smithtown General Tire and Service we have two state of the art wheel alignment machines to diagnose alignment conditions. Our computerized wheel alignment restores your vehicle’s alignment to as close to factory specifications as mechanically possible. Our ASE certified technicians completely inspect steering and suspension systems, take computer measurements and make necessary factory adjustments to restore alignment specifications as allowed.
Tire Balancing
At Smithtown General Tire and Service our ASE certified technicians remove and inspect your tires for unusual wear or damage. The tires will be reinstalled and the wheels torqued to the proper value. Balancing provides a smoother ride by minimizing tire bounce. This helps improve traction, steering control and extends the life of the tires.
Tire Rotation
Tires may wear differently depending on their position on the vehicle, your driving style and the condition of your suspension. Regularly rotating your tires can evenly distribute their wear, helping you get the most miles out of your tires while maximizing traction on all four wheels.
Tire Installation
Smithtown General Tire offers a wide selection of national brand tires available in all sizes and at competitive prices. We also fill all of our tires with nitrogen, at no additional cost to our customers. The benefits of nitrogen are less air loss to the tires and no water vapor in the tires. Which results in longer lasting tires.
